Bold brand work

Under Bob’s leadership, the Panasonic Toughbook account team has gained a reputation as fearless as the products they promote. Bob has sent Toughbook computers to the top of Mount Everest; dispatched a reporter from Forbes magazine to the inside of a tiger’s cage; and even stood by while an expert marksman unloaded a barrage of bullets into the hardware. All in a day’s work when you’re building the toughest brand in technology.

Career highlight

Alongside the PR awards on Bob’s office wall hang a collection of platinum discs from his previous career, working with bands such as The Rankin Family and Sloan. As a twenty-something rock band manager back in the early 1990s, Bob learned that, no matter what, the show must go on.
